Drive Shaft Angles Help

    Hello guys

    Recently i lifted my truck about 3 inches all around. I have been experiencing some vibrations. I have already swapped the ECGS bushing and have had an alignment and tires balanced 2 times. Its driving me a little insane.

    Im trying to correct drive shaft angles now and heres what i have done.

    With nothing done, the angles are as follows


    This puts Operating angles at 4.9* at TC to front driveshaft, 2.7* at carrier bearing to rear shaft and 6.3* from rear shaft to rear diff pinion angle

    After reading a bunch of the forums and others who have had this issues i thought that flipping the carrier bearing 180* might help, the idea was to get the TC to driveshaft angle as small as possible and have the other 2 angles be as close to the same as possible. After flipping, the vibration are very very minimal. However the angles are a little concerning and im trying to figure out if its a problem or just what next steps might be.

    This puts Operating angles at 1.9* at TC to front driveshaft, 7.3* at carrier bearing to rear shaft and 7.8* from rear shaft to rear diff pinion angle.

    Is 7+ degree operating angles on u joints a big issues? Seems excessive, but it has reduced vibrations greatly. Would adding a rear shim be a good idea?

    YotaWerx Stage 1, Bumper light bar, Hood wrap, Roadmaster Active Suspension, Durobumps.
    I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the big thing is that the rear diff and transmission/transfer case angles match. So in this case with both at 3.9* or both at 2.6*. Along with of course all your ujoint yokes being phased properly

    I have read that, but i dont know if 1.3* difference is enough to try and correct that. It would be either adding shims in reverse to make rear diff angle smaller or changing mounts on TC. Which both seem excessive for 1.3*. Not to mention that the operating angles of the ujoint would get a bit bigger.

    What lift did you put on it? If it was blocks, you might have put them on backwards, as they usually correct pinion angle, not make it worse.

    Icon RXT on 3rd setting as the rear has quite a bit of weight
