I had a center bearing go out all of the rubber that surrounded it was gone. I got it all out and was on the last part. I was trying to get the Universal Joint yoke out off the driveshaft so i could put the new center bearing in. I put WD40, candle wax and i put a breaker bar in between the two U joint holes so i could hit it off. I was so close to geting it free and i did manage to get it free but more than half way through it i broke the U joint hole and cracked off. :( Ive been looking all over to find a new one because i really sdont want to buy a whole new drive shaft when all i need is that yoke. Is therte any replacements or conversions to replace the broke one? I will talk to my old Toyota teacher at Ranken and ask what he thinks.

Do you have pics of what broke? I have trail spares, but you can also get them locally at any junkyard, on ebay, car-part.com, local drive line shop, http://www.4xshaft.com/ lots of different places carry drive shaft parts. The dealer will only sell a complete driveshaft, and tom woods can custom make a one piece for less than a new one from the dealer, then you won't ever have to replace that crappy rubber thing anymore.

I'm not smellin' what you're sellin'. What? I do not understand which piece is broken. I may or may not have a spare that I could sell you, or you can find your own part locally at the above listed locations; among others.

Edit: Is it this piece that is held on with a nut? (this is a solid carrier bearing, yours doesn't have the blue part)

Ok, I have a used one I could ship you. It's a little beat up from replacing a U-joint on the trail with a rock and socket, but it's still true. $75 shipped paypal or you could get one at a local junkyard, and it would probably be cheaper. Might be able to get an entire driveshaft for that. Makes sure you get one from a 4wd.
