Yes, but if you remove the driveshaft at least you know it’s not driveline / pinion angle related which is what most of this thread is about solving.

I actually did do tires first 2 weeks prior to lift. My issue was I couldn’t remember if I had the vibes when I first put my tires on as I never looked for it. It’s very slight. Also my suspension is stiffer so it’s possible it’s now amplified and I feel it more.

The way to really know would be to put the stock tires back on but at this point I’m living with it.

Im going through this as well, I have to get an angle finder and then figure everything. I have the front adjusted to about 2.75" of lift and the rear is around 1.8. I have a DIFF/CB drop installed as well as the ECGS bushing. Im still getting the rumble strip vibes when i slow down and I also get the vibes at 60mph on up. Im probably thinking that ill need 2* shims for the rear but I will measure the angles to make sure i get the right shims.

I would pull the drive shaft, drive around in 4HI and and see if its still there. That will tell you whether you need to mess with shims and pinion angles which seems to be a huge PITA. Do you have aggressive tires? I don't seem to get vibes from 60 and up, only when slowing down around 25-10mph. My tires shimmy a tad at 60+ but nothing is vibrating the truck at those higher speeds. You sound to be more level than my lift as well. I'm like 2-2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear.

And on a side note, I don't buy the whole "every truck is different" thing. I get that mfg tolerances and specs can change things but its super minor. The only thing I see being different from "truck to truck" is how much weight is added. If you take 2 stock trucks with the same mods and weight... i doubt a 2" lift is gonna create vibes on one truck and be completely smooth on the other. Maybe I'm missing something, IDK.

I have 285/70/17 ridge grapplers.. It was fine for about 4 or 5 days then i started getting the vibes. I believe the wheels are good because I didnt get any vibes during this period of time. How difficult is it to remove the driveshaft?

I didn’t personally do it, the install guys did to help troubleshoot. Doesn’t seem difficult but that thing is long and heavy.

If it was fine for even 5 miles then it’s not because of a lift. Throw the wheel weight(s)?

I’m working on this currently and I have a question.

My 1st and 2nd shaft are the correct angle now, but my diff input angle is 2.0. Do I just need 2 degree shims? Is it that simple?

Does the fat part of the shim go towards the front of the truck?

Fat towards the rear- you want .5 degree angle so that way that you joint getS LUBED. If the joint has 0° angle the bearings will not distribute the Grease

So then I would need like a 1.5 shim?

I just finished replacing my carrier bearing with the IEDLS poly carrier bearing and center U-joint, double checked my drive line angles but I'm still experiencing vibration through the floorboard at highway speeds. Its from 40-50 and 55-65. Seems to stop as I approach 70. Anyone here experience this? It didn't start until I messed with my driveshaft, so I'm assuming my problem lies there, just can't pinpoint it.

    Ever fix this problem?

My vibration is from 20-35 and 55-70. I'm buying an angle finder tomorrow and expect to order shims if that's the case.

It’s semi fixed. Still getting slight vibrations from 20-35 and a rumble at 55-60. It rides smooth at highway speeds though.

2 degree axle shims. Basically just found the angular difference between the rear diff and the rear portion of the driveshaft and got a shim to make them perpendicular.
