I have been driving stick all my life, and with this 2017 Tacoma Sport it has been a real chore to get rolling from dead stop, ( worse on hill ) (tall gears ? ) (doing a lot stop and go traffic)
I have to constantly slip clutch at approx 1000 RPM.
I believe clutches are only to be either engaged or not engaged (not in between)
On my old 1992 SR5 4x4 with 3.0 liter engine with 5 speed manual, I did not have to think about it so much, I put 350,000 miles on it and never had to do a clutch job.
Now with this new Tacoma I am worried.
I just seems to me if the RPM was at 750 there would be no issue ? (not at 500-525 rpm)
Don't know if the $800 re-flash is the answer ? any help
