was under my truck today greasing all my zerk fittings and noticed when I grabbed my driveline I could move it a little bit when trying to spin it by hand. Probably 1/2 inch each way. The movement wasn't coming from the U joints. It was from transfer case and also rear differential. Is this normal? It's a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 6spdMT

There is going to be some movement due to the backlash between the gears.
If you aren't getting excessive noise or vibration I wouldn't worry about it.
