    I had the problem fixed by Toyota. It was (and is for everybody having the same issue) a matter of angles in the rear end/drive shaft.

    Wait, you have the vibration issues fixed?

    Post your work order so we can see what they did. Or PM me the name of the service manager that was involved with the fix. I will have the service manager I have been workin with give him a call. My SM wants to help me out, but says he doesn't know how.

    Why do people bring up really old threads? To the guy who brought this thread back to life;

    You said it didn't do it before the lift. Well by lifting the truck you have changed the driveshaft angles. That way Toyota's "fix" in the first place for this new gen.

    Maybe I missed it, but I didn't read the guy bringing it back up that it did it post lift. Mine did it bone stock. The reason people bring it back up is because it's a problem for them, and they're are probably doing like me and researching the net, which is how I found this place and this thread.

    To those that are dealing with it, and frustrated with the dealerships...they don't know the fix. It's a simple fix, and yes it involves drive shaft angles. they fixed mine with a new set of leafs and caster wedges. I will say this much about how I got it done...I went WAY above the dealership level. When it got fixed, I had been told "sorry" by the dealership a half dozen times...then one day the service manager called me, and said, "I don't know what you did, but Toyota says bring your truck by Monday, and they'll have a team here to fix it." I did, and they did just that, complete with complimentary 4 Runner provided for the day and a half they had it.

    Which vibrations did the new leafs and shims fix?
    Rumble strip feeling while slowing from 25-15?
    Buzzy vibes in steering wheel/gas pedal between 2000 and 2500 rpms?
    Rear differential whine at 60 mph?
    Do you have a picture of the caster wedges?

    shoot me a PM. I'd like to hear the details, and it seems like you are hesitant to mention them on here publicly. My service manager is incredibly interesting in finding a fix, so if you can point me/him in the right direction that would be awesome.

    I think the community will benefit greatly if the details can be shared here.

    Toyota should actually encourage distribution of this information to put prospective buyers' minds at ease

    I would venture to guess the rumble strip feeling from 25-15. I would be surprised if that issue isn't driveline angle or driveshaft balance related.

    Should probably check to make sure the carrier bearing wasn't installed upside down by chance either.

    I don't have all the vibes others describe with vibes at certain speeds, at least as far as I've noticed, but I've got the rumble strip feeling and my trucks completely stock.

    Can you send me message about this? I'd like to see if I can show some evidence to the dealership that there's a fix.
