yeah I figure they will put up some resistance...but I remember some guy on here had the vibe issue, or it was his dads truck...
They took it in and ended up replacing the driveshaft. After that he said it was smooth as glass.

Well its sunday morning and Chuck Hutton Toyota has had my truck since Wednesday morning. According to them they are replacing each part then testing. They have already done the trans mount, and springs so they say and now they have to wait for the stearing damper to come in to install it. Seems like to me I am going to get my truck back without it being fixed.

Talked with my field rep today.
The springs are exactly the same as 3 or 4 leaf set ups EXCEPT he said the mounting area is different to change the pinion angle. How it does it i don't know cause i haven't seen a set yet. So it's a angle change only.

Today makes a week that the dealership has had my truck. I got a call a little while ago and they say they have done everything cept the searing damper and are holdning off on it cause they dont see that fixing the problem. They want a toyota rep to come look at it and he is supposed to be here today or tomorrow to give his advice. So a week in the shop and still nothing, but still having fun driving the hell out of the 2012 camry they gave me.:D

This is what they want. If things are not correct then the field rep gets involved.

I still haven't scheduled mine to go in. Last weekend I checked the U-bolt torque, and on each spring three nuts were at 37 ft-lb and one nut was less. I torqued all nuts up to 70 ft-lb. This noticeably reduced the 15 - 25 MPH vibration but it's still there.

Any guesses why some tacs do this and some don't?

Got my '12 used with 2500 miles and now have ~5000. No hint of vibration.

They seem to be gone at this time, the rear feels a lot stiffer and the springs appear to be much thicker steel than my previous springs, 3 pack not 4 pack

I have a tonneau cover by Gaylord's which weighs about 300 plus pounds, hopefully I won't get sag in time and the angle changes again?

I dropped off my truck this morning for the tsb. I have three leafs currently and the serice guy showed me what they ordered to put on my truck. Instead of the 3 leafs they are installing a 4 leaf pack and the springs visibly look.beefier. He showed me the new mount for the transmission and the dampener. They will have it done in a couple more hours. Im still not convinced that the problem isnt the drive shaft itself, but since others have adjusted the angles in the driveline and had success, im hoping the new angle of the springs will correct the problem. Ill report back after I get it back this afternoon.

Ive had the steering column tsb done, that worked like a charm. Ive had the rear drum brake tsb done, completely silent now. So hopefully this one works too!

    Edit:

Im not having any luck today it seems... the service guy just came out and told me the transmission mount location and the springs would not mount up for my truck. He said the diameter of the mounting pin on the springs was too big for my truck and the parts were for a baja, he thinks. None of it would fit! They are putting all of my original junk back on and I have to wait for the new parts to be shipped here... and guess what, he said it may be a while because the parts are coming all the way from japan! Oh well, back to being patient.
