Hey guys. New tacoma owner here.got a 2013 4 door 2x4 all stock 114k on it a 4.0 auto. Got a slight vibration at 30 to 35 and a significant vibration that fades out as i gain speed from a dead stop to 75/100% throttle and on a downshift 75/100% throttle from 3rd to 2nd......just replaced rearend gear oil, carrier bearing and u joint by the bearing.still doin the same thing.
Have these things had cronic tranny problems!?? I thought these were great trucks.thanks in add.

Maybe one of the other u-joints?
Hate to ask, but is there mud/snow/ice in your wheels?

If it’s a vibration similar to an electric shaver in your hand on the steering wheel.. maybe around 2,000RPM.. it’s a typical issue that hasn’t really been diagnosed to my knowledge. Many people have thrown $$$ at it and time and have yielded no results. Found ultimately to not be a threat to the longevity of the truck.

If not what I said above, then continue diagnosing.

Naw nothing in wheels. I figured one of the other u joints front and rear or tranny mount.i just looked at the tranny mount and i can move the tranny w 2 hands on the driveshaft but its not broke or anything.did a little research and they do it usually when lifted but like i said im stock 2x4....if i rev in nuetral to around 2k i feel a vibration also.

You’re feeling the vibration through the truck but not centralized in the steering wheel?
