As of last night with no previous issues, my key no longer works for the door, and the auto locks are unable convince it to open it either. Crawling through the passenger door with a broken toe is getting old real quick. What's smoothest plan of attack folks?

your key won't turn in the locks? I had some problems with my driver door and sprayed some WD40 in the keyhole and made it easier to turn the key
is there something better I can use?

The key works in the passenger side no problem. But the driver door will not unlock. The key works in the driver door ONLY to unlock direction... HALP!

How hard is it to swap out a lock?

Do you have another key? I had the same issue, I used another key I had, and it worked. My key was worn down, and old, the other key i had was new

The only thing that doesn't work is the unlocking of the driver door with and without keys

I had this exact problem. Something wrong with the locking cylinder even after trying three different types of lubricants. Only fixed after disassembling the door-panel and and getting the locking cylinder itself out, then taking it to a reputable locksmith where they used a cylinder fixing kit to make it work. Now it works even better than the passenger door. Only cost me 20 dollars.

So i can't even get the door open to take the panel off and swap locks or lil plastic bits that might have busted...Somebody got a magic trick for me?!

I thought you could unlock and open the driver's door through the passenger side. Is this not correct? If you cannot do that, then you have a bigger problem I think.

Only thing I can recommend is taking off the door handle from inside and trying to get the door open. There's just one screw on the door handle that holds it. You remove the screw and then slide the handle to the right and then it comes out easily.

    maybe a relay switch problem?

any way to tell if your driver side is making noise while trying to unlock all doors on passenger side?
can you pull the lock up on the driver side by hand to get your door open?

We've tried turning the key, hitting the auto locks while pulling on the tab, pulling the mechanism inside the interior handle while hitting the button and pulling the tab... NOTHING

It's definitely making the sounds of wanting to function, but something is keeping it from opening fully.
