Hey I'm new here and new to the Tacoma.

It appears my front bumper on the driver side is either loose or was damaged. I don't see any scratches or dents but I do park in a parking garage. I just noticed it today. There is a clear separation from the quarter panel and is being pushed outward away from the truck. I tried pushing it but got some resistance so I let it be for now.

Has anyone else had this with their new Tacoma? Or is it easy to fix? I bought it brand new just 2 months ago. My first assumption was some broken clips but seems odd for so few miles (<1300).IMG_0625.jpgIMG_0626.jpg IMG_0630.jpg

There's just little clips holding it in, but they hold it darn tight. If you don't recall hitting anything and there's no damage, I'd be concerned about figuring out how it happened! Possibly in-transit damage repaired at dealership? Or maybe the "damage" is just really hard to see?
Not sure what area you are in, but is it a higher crime area? I've read that there are thieves that can access a headlight connection and subsequently steal vehicles. Yeah, that's a thing. May have gotten interrupted? Not sure if a Tacoma is vulnerable that way, but likely. I'd think there would be a loose screw or evidence of loosening on the bumper retaining screw/s in the wheel well if that was the case, though. So probably not likely.
Welcome to Tacoma ownership and the forum!

Either someone tapped you or you tapped someone. If you are handy you can fix it yourself, but don't expect a perfect gap because it probably was not perfect to begin with.

This piece is attached to the fender and the bumper snaps into it. It's possible that yours is broken (I broke one side when I removed my bumper).

There are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to remove the front bumper.

That's a wide gap compared to the factory gap.

There’s another guy who posted this same thing last month. Info for search purposes. Don’t remember his outcome.

My wife did this in her Subaru pulling into the local supermarket parking lot with a ridiculously high hump between the road to sidewalk to parking lot transition. I've since seen 2 more people do the same thing in the same spot. Pushes the fender/bumper cover seem clips right out.

Your avatar says 23 Black SR 4x4.
If it's still under warranty try a dealer.
Or maybe you know it's not warranty because of of a whack.
