what year second gens have that Tacoma lean on the driver side when lifting it. I was told from 2012 up don't need to add the 1/4" spacer on the driver side. Any true info would help thanks gurus

That's incorrect. As far as I know, all 2nd Gens have driver's side lean when replacing the factory coils with aftermarket. If you're installing 5100's or a spacer lift, you will never need to account for the driver's side lean. However, if you're replacing the factory coils with aftermarket coils (Eibach, OME, etc.) or if you're swapping out the factory suspension for coilovers, you will need to correct the driver's side lean either via a 1/4 - 3/8" spacer or additional coil preload.

The reason for this is because Toyota has a "LEFT" and "RIGHT" side coil from the factory which mostly addresses the lean. When you replace the factory coils with aftermarket, the aftermarket coils are the same length on right and left, so you have to account for the lean in another way.

Taco Lean. As stated above any 2nd Gen can have it once the original front coil springs are replaced.

My truck has it with the Old Man Emu lift kit. That kit comes with a 1/8" trim packer (which equates to 1/4" lift). I can still see from behind that my bed isn't level due to the Taco lean.

Plenty of lean on my 2013, corrected with preload. The top one in this picture was on my driver side.

    So tired of this.

The lean is a body mount bushing issue, not a suspension issue. 2012+ seem to have worse bushings than earlier years.

This is news to me... never heard this one. My 2015 leans pretty significantly.

I presume there's an aftermarket fix for the bushings?
