Did some research and found that most of members who encounter this issue are able to fix by removing the small cover plate on the bottom of the mirror cover and tightening the 2 hidden screws. I did that and my screws were indeed loose but the threads in the bracket were stripped. Couldn't find a part number on page 153 for just the bracket and don't want to spend the money on an entire assembly. Anyone know of the part number for the bracket/sail piece??

If it doesn't exist I'll likely have to replace both mirror assemblies since they are color-matched to factory, black sand pearl paint job.

Butter up the stripped holes with 2 step epoxy. Then thread the screws/bolts back in and let it set.

    That should tighten it up!

Thanks guys. I shoved a bigger screw in the hole and it seems to have rethreaded for now. We'll see how long it holds up. Will probably check some yards in the interim to have a back up just in case. All else fails, the 2 step epoxy will be the next try.
