Should I install a drivers side 5mm trim packer with new front OME coils or not? I see some use them and some don't after reading pages of set ups. Is it inevitable that the driver's side lean will show up with these trucks? Appreciate any advice before I just flip a coin and build the strut.

Going to bump this thread. In the middle of assembling my OME struts with 882’s. Have an ARB bumper and it’s a 4x4 DC. Do I need the trim packer?

Yea add it. Without adjustable coilovers the lean always shows up.

I would add it. I have a 5mm on mine and it's almost leveled. Can't imagine without it.

I believe generally they are supposed to be only on the driver's side.

Thanks guys. The struts had already been assembled and I asked if the trim packer was installed and it was a no. I didn’t want to create more work if the trim packer wasn’t required.

put it on, after 7 years I have Taco lean. been debating on switching the coils side to side and seeing if any difference (I'll measure coil spring height when off).
