I am having to replace the cv axle and a few other parts on the driver side of my 99 tacoma, and thought while I'm at it I'd go ahead and have new bearings pressed in. My mechanic was able to find the inner and outer bearings, but is having trouble finding a smaller "Axle shaft bearing" as he called it. He cut the old one out and cannot find a replacement for it. Anyone have any idea where I can find such a thing. It also goes by needle bearings, or trunion bearings according to him. I can find needle bearings all day long as long as its for the diff.

I have already bought one and it was the wrong size. Dealership is no help at all. Been working every angle possible for about 1 month now.

So after some very intense searching and phone calls, and picking up all my parts and pieces from the machine shop and measuring the ID, OD and height, I have finally figured out that what I am looking for is called a spindle bushing TPN 90381-30003. However, it appears that it has been upgraded to a part that is not suppose to work for my truck and instead for a T100/Hilux. This new part number is 90364-30011 https://youtu.be/DSihdJh8eWM Looks like the price varies from $10 on Amazon to $50 at the dealership.
