I checked my inside corner panel. All 3 round seals were present. Ugh. Have to tape up more and try again.

Just for shits and giggles I had the same problem and couple of others covered the holes on their LCA's and it fixed the problem. Try that since its cheap and a easy thing to do. I know you said it may be coming from the window but try that. Hope it helps OP.

Tape up the gap between the door and the body (with some masking or painters tape), and drive it, see if that fixes the issue.

Dealer and myself tried that. He taped up the entire truck. Whistle was still there. He was frustrated as was I. He "adjusted the door" and put in new door seals, and the whistle is quieter, but essentially moved the noise from 65mph to 75-80mph. Doesn't do it all the time. My guess is crosswinds. One some highways, its quiet.

Well, I used electrical tape and taped any gaps under the plastic window triangular piece. I also covered a lot of holes under the right side of the truck (frame area). The sound is almost gone. Its so slight, its almost unnoticeable. The truck did 85mph today and not a peep.

yea, last time it happened I was driving through the desert. through an area with windfarms. I pulled over and shoved napkins into the weatherstripping, and that mostly solved the problem for that drive. I need to get some of the screen door rubber, and glue it in so its fixed permanently.

Did u have Toyota install the updated weatherstripping? When they did mine, the truck was a lot quieter but the whistle remained. Tried taping all the doors shut, but the whistle was still there. I think my whistle was coming from other areas.

No, never bothering taking it in. On mine, its pretty apparent its coming from the door area. I'll post a video I have of it, as soon as I figure out how find unlisted videos on my own youtube channel...

Edit: Here it is on mine:

This helped with my whistling noise at 40-50mph with/without wind.

One of the plastic tape lenses was off-centered so I had to peel if off and align it. I snapped the corner panel back, and I forgot to pull out the white clips (I remember reading this post by zeagle50 and had a doh! moment). Two of the clips fell out! I took off the whole door panel thinking it dropped down to the bottom of the door but it didn't. It fell into the side mirror crevice. Unbolted the side mirror assembly and fished it out with a coat hanger with sticky tape at the end.

The next day I drove around, and the whistling was gone. Therefore, either the realigning the tape or unbolting the side mirror assembly and reinstalling fixed it. There's a gasket behind the mirror assembly that might need readjusting.

Posting my experience here so it can help someone.

I had a whistling noise on my driver side. Dealer replaced the door seal and that didn't fix it. I happened to buy weathertech inchannel visors and after install the whistle was gone.

Just read this entire post and everything sounds like exactly what I have been experiencing. I have a 2018 Double Cab Sport, whistling noise happens at anything above 35 mph! Dealer tried the painters tape method to no success, and said they want me to open a TAS case. I find it hard to believe that there isn't dozens of other individuals in this same situation and Toyota hasn't figured it out... :frusty:

Would you be able to put the rubber on the door frame rather than the door?

I've been hearing a wind noise on the driver's side especially during cold days. Seems like it is coming from the door seal right behind my head and it is noticeable at anything above 30 MPH. I plan on trying some silicone spray on the door seal and having a good look at it.

I will be at the dealer for T-SB-0112-19 Clutch Pedal Squeek/Creak Noise next Tuesday (this goes on in hot weather). If I can't figure it out I might mention the wind noise to them.

I did have success with a noise coming from the passenger side dash where the windshield trim panel meets the top dash panel. A tiny piece of felt tape between the panels exorcised this demon!

IT really pisses me off when you spend big $$$ and you have to not only do the Dealers job - you have to prove it to them ... I'd tell the service manager I want some Maintenance credit (oil changes?) for doing their job. Be nice when asking - never hurts to ask.

Just a thought .... As we are talking about "Wind" or "Air pressure - Perhaps it's the cab vent at the back of the cab. Block it off from the outside with tape - see if it changes. I would NOT run the tuck without the vent - but maybe it can be "too much" vent or m blocked? JMO

I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 (extended cab). I had constant whistling noise on the passenger side when at 40 and above MPH. Read some things here that helped, and I found out it was the slit on the side view mirror that was catching air and causing a whistling noise. Attached are pictures of where it is at. I am still not sure how to fix it. I put a piece of tape on it, but I want a permanent solution. I am considering putting caulk in the space--but anyone else got a better suggestion?
