I've spoke to one owner not long ago complaining about a similar issue but his was at 55 mph or so, and doesn't notice as bad at higher speeds. He just makes it a habit to avoid driving at that speed. I get some wind noise on my 2020 truck to but its not that annoying. My 01 tundra even after 19 years had less wind noise.

I had that same issue when driving against cross winds. I followed this method and it has completely eliminated the wind noise. https://youtu.be/736UhJpjo2k Maybe it’ll work out for you as well.

I had the noise on my 2019 SR5 it wasn't bad but I did hear it. I installed in-channel vent shades and that stopped the noise. I always install the vent shades on every vehicle so this would have been done even if there was no whistle.

My month old 2020 Tacoma is having this issue on the drivers side. At about 50 mph I keep try to close the window (already closed) to make it go away, annoying. It's my biggest squawk so far. I'm going to hit up the dealer and ask about the supposed revision they made to the door seal.

gotcha, I had two issues, one was the kazoo sound from the window weatherstripping (which I fixed with the screen tubing), and then I put a shorter antenna over there, and it caused a separate whistling sound. Had them confused for a while, thought the weatherstripping fix had gone bad, until one day on a hunch I removed the short antenna, and the sound went away completely.

I have the wind noise coming from the top of the driver's door. This is only when the outside temperatures are below 40°F or so.

I may have found something, at least it helped on my 18. And sorry if this has been mentioned before.

I noticed my wind noise was coming from the A pillar area near the mirror. I Just finished a 2000 mile road mile trip so I had lots of time to poke and push on parts.

I pushed on the sail panel, the triangle shaped one nearest the mirror and the wind noise stopped! So I pulled the panel off and immediately lost all the clips, but I layered up some electrical tape near the edges and seams and covered the open holes on the metal, then stuck a piece of foam under the panel, got new clips and reinstalled.

Took care of probably 99% of my noise! Hope this works for someone else too!

The WeatherTech side window deflectors made this irritating noise go away. They look nice too.

The foam weather stripping did nothing for me.

Is anyone aware of where these "3 plastic tape lenses" are supposed to be located? Is this on the outside of the vehicle? I pulled the small inside corner panel off and this is what it looks like:

Edit: I just realized this is a 3rd gen post. Anyone know if this applies to 2nd gen?

My 2016 whistled at highway speeds and due to a TSB, the dealer replaced all the door seals with thicker ones.
