Driver Side window issue

1999 Tacoma SR5

My 99 taco SR5's driver side window rolls down just fine but when I try to roll up just a little it goes all the way up without stopping and I cannot roll window back down until I have the car off for about 5-10 minutes. The switch on the same panel for the passenger window functions normally. Anyway idea what could be the issue?
