    Yes, there was one.
    Mine was covered.
It didn’t apply to all Trucks.

FWIW, I have NO steering wheel controls.
    I only have Cruise Control.

7 years with a potential air bag problem......egads...

I was in an accident while in China. The airbag kept me from having a dashboard for lunch. The driver lost control on a wet highway to end up in a head on impact. I was in the front passenger seat wearing seat belt. Driver wasn't wearing seat belt. He suffered minor injury, but didn't have a steering wheel for lunch. Air bags deployed.

Glad you guys were okay. Airbags pack a punch, but I’ll eat one before a dash or steering wheel any day. I was a first responder on a friend who happened to get in a head on accident. Airbags deployed saved him and his brother. His eyes were swollen to the size of baseballs from the starch reaction.

Thanks....yeah, Minor facial bruising and busted glasses.

The Volvo SUV was totaled. The engine/tranny was driven under the SUV. Hood was bowed into a V with the back edge at the windshield base. Doors were jammed shut. Fortunately, the windows stilled rolled down, the escape route.

Point to the OP..... get the Air Bag repaired. You've been lucky for 7 years. How long will your fortune last????
