drivers door interior opener...

    when i open my door from inside the truck when i release the opener it does not return all the way and sticks out a bit.....does the interior opener have a spring that halps return it all the way back???? thanks

    I think the spring is it the locking mecanism on the side of the door. Try lubricating it with some sylicone spray.

    02 ext cab cat-back exhaust, k&n replacement filter, 5100 billy's, hellcreek 1.5" rear spring packs, 882 OME coils, Toytec 2" AAl, stainless brake lines, Light Racing UCA, 1" diff drop, BPV bracket, 4" deck plate mod, 886 fog light backup light mod, tom woods one piece drive shaft, spider trax 1.25 spacer.
    there is a little spring that attaches to the back side of the handle, look at the passanger side and you'll see it. The same thing just happened to me and i just got a new spring.

    where did you get the new spring....could not find it in the toyota parts diagrams....

    King coilovers frt +3". Bilstein 5100 shocks rear w/AAL, K&N FIPK, Magnablow exhaust, Billet grill, clear corner lights, Sony stereo, JBL, Sub etc.
    Im not sure you can buy the spring. If its the inside door handle (opener)? It is available new from Toyota. I just replaced both on my 03. I think they were 25.00-27.00 ea.

    i just went to napa and got a spring from their generac springs on the wall and it worked.
