So I finally seemed to have solved the ticking noise in the drivers door that was making me crazy. I am the second owner and bought it when it was about a year old. Since the day I got this truck I would get this periodic ticking noise on the drivers side area. Sounded like it was coming from inside the driver door or access door. I had the access doors apart to install speakers and thought maybe I left something loose. Took them apart again to secure everything and replaced all the broken clips etc. Still ticked. Finally took the lower seatbelt anchor and anchor bolts apart. I wrapped the anchor bolts with electric tape and cut out several round felt washers to surround the anchor touch points. Even thought the noise seemed to be on the driver side only, I did both sides. It's been a few months, and it seems to be solved. Maybe I am late to the party on this and everyone knows about it, but problem solved and my sanity is temporarily restored.
