    My driver's seat won't recline :mad: anyone else had this problem? my seat looks like it's twisted...now I drive with a ganstar lean haha :eek: any help would be appreciated...I would like to fix this problem before my seat snaps and I have buy a new one :(

    sounds like you have an issue with the reclining mechanism. doubt you can repair only replace. you can take the seat out, four bolts and a connector and inspect it better.

    01 SR: Double Cab conversion, S/C, lowered.
    Sounds like the seat back or some other structural components have come apart. It is possible to disassemble the seat to check what is broken / separated and whether it might be fixable.

    If you decide to take the seat out and your truck has any sort of rust underneath, PB blast the hell out of the rear outermost bolts (the rear seat bolts closest to the door). They go through to the bottom of the cab and rust out from underneath as they are exposed to the elements. I broke that one off removing my seat. Luckily it is relativly easy to access the top and bottom when drilling out and tapping in a new bolt hole, but try to save yourself the trouble.

    can't take off the back...a couple of the bolts are cross threaded :(

    I seen it was very old sadly, only thread I could find on this situation with the seats
