I fixed mine mounting a hi-lift on the right side of the bed and my dog riding shotgun, it didnt take much counterweight to correct it. Without the dog, I just pack my water containers and other heavy gear on the same side too.

so now its a 1/4" higher in the right rear? so it is hard to completely level any vehicle I guess..

My 2019 trd sport leans almost 3/4" on the driver's side. Drives me nuts!

I can't believe Toyota lets this slide from the factory. Now I'm going to have to go measure mine...

    I recently put:

    OME 887
    Bilstiens 5100 all around
    ICON Leaf Mini Pack
Took out Spring Overload in the rear (so 6 leafs total)
    1/4 spacer on front driver

Center hub to fender is 23" dead on all around EXCEPT the REAR DRIVER.

It's driving me nuts because it was all off but a week of driving, everything has settled nicely...but driver's rear has always been about 1" off from the driver's front. Granted I have a 1/4" spacer, but without it, driver's front would be off from FP and RP...so, I've got 3 out of 4 dead on. It's driving me nuts because I've taken measurements daily and the rear driver has always been off as everything else was settling and lining up together harmoniously. I never thought that I would need a shim because frankly I never took notice to folks in the dedicated thread with this setup ever mention it. All I saw mentioned was the front driver's side "taco lean" so I threw in the 1/4 spacer without thought off the bat. glad I did because it seems to be perfect with the FP and RP...

I've measured with no fuel, and full tank...same thing. the measurement has NOT changed. What can be done and is it really true that even with an identical vehicle (V6 DCSB) and identical suspension to the next guy, that it can differ and no two tacomas are always going to be the same? I have nothing in my bed other than the Tonneau cover but that weight isn't much and is distributed fairly evenly so if it had an affect, I would see it equally tru on the other side (RP)...

Is something not installed right? Preload?

What are my options or solutions here? I'm OCD, so living with it is not one of my choices ha!

To be fair, I have yet to do an alignment because it's only been a week and I wanted the vehicle to settle first, then align. Could that possibly help? Eye ballin' it from the front, I have no major camber, but my eyeballs aren't a great judgement to mechanical corrections. And if alignment doesn't help bring it closer, what else can I do? This is annoying! I'm anti blocks, shims and jerry-riggin which is while I went with an actual lift kit...maybe not the most lavish, but I did want to make sure it was legitimate. However, if that's the only choice I have, then I'll do what I need to!

My front 5100 settings are on default 0, lowest setting. I have not changed them as to not stress them. So my coils upfront are bearing the load.

I've done a search and the only solution I saw was a 1/2" shim. Can't be a defective shock, could it? All my searched here yielded this same problem with this setup on mainly 2nd gens...would love to hear 3rd gen feedback and what people have done to remedy this!

    Thanks in advance!

Mobius Taco. Sounds like a slight difference in spring rate on leaves. Try putting a string line between the leaf mounts and measure the distance to the axle on each side.

I prefer not to know if there is a lean... if I don’t measure, then there’s not one! Ya’ll remember how perfect your Tacoma was BEFORE you discovered this forum?

Funniest part is when I measure it says the driver side is lower, when I put a level across the truck, it sits perfectly level. Which is lying?

I like how you have 21 3/2" as a measurement.
    Or are these metric fractional?

I thought the stock leaves and coils were side specific to account for the greater battery/driver/full tank but otherwise unladen weight difference so maybe you have a p- side leaf pack on the drivers side. I've also read that leaf packs can be re-arched so maybe that coukd fix it.

I'm going to park that side on some gravel and call it a day so that when I pass by, I can focus on other imperfections this forum has brought to my attention.

I've never noticed a lean on mine either just by looking at it, and I've looked at it a shit ton of times.

Just for the hell of it I measured it in my garage with a full tank of gas. Rear of the truck was dead nuts even, front was 1/4" off.

I aint gonna fuck with it.
