I don’t have any photos of my taco but I’m pretty sure me describing it is enough.

Just recently I with my new wheels one side (drivers side) rubs way more than the passenger side. I know the wheels will rub but idk why there’s little to none on the passenger side compared to a lot of rubbing on the drivers side at close to full lock. It looks like the passenger wheels sits further out than the drivers side but idk why since the wheels and tires are the exact same.

Steering rack off center causes one side to turn more than other side.

I have stock wheels with 265/75r16 A/Ts and my tires rubbed more on the driver side (frame) than the passenger.

That doesn't mean the wheel is closer, it more likely that the steering geometry turns tighter in that direction (to the left).

    nothing to worry about...

I will take a look at it again when I get home today and I’m gonna actually take some measurements. Hopefully after that I can get a better understanding of what’s going on.

I suggest putting the tape measure away.

It's not going to be perfectly symmetrical. F1 cars probably aren't even symmetrical.

If it drives straight and you have a good factory alignment, there's nothing to worry about.

Ummm. Race Car Mechanic here. When we do squaring and setup we measure and match to 10ths of millimeters. We are no where near F1 levels (just a 12 race North American series). I can gaurantee that if the track calls for it, F1 cars are set up *perfectly* symmetrical.

but yeah, in the real world? toe and go. If it ain't crabbing and your tires are good you're done.

I’ve noticed in general I seem to be able to make tighter left turns than right turns. I think that your right that the geometry gives tighter radius to the driver side turning.

I've always said these aren't Ferrari's but F1 cars are.

OP, the Tacoma 6 lug turns tighter than it's competitors, it does it by tucking the wheels pretty tight. At least used to, no idea about all these new big/mids coming out.

I was meaning that any asymmetry was *intentional*
