Mine always runs too, its absolutely annoying. All vents have air coming through it even when off.

Is it blowing just a little bit? I find that my driver's and passenger's side vents both do that. I keep them pointed to the side windows in the Winter to keep them from fogging up. I think they're designed to do that so they defrost the side windows.

    ABS sucks.
Yes. Each vent has an independent shutoff wheel if you really hate them...

Push the button that makes it take the air from inside the vehicle. That stops it from blowing when its not on.

    It's a feature.
    Keeps the windows defogged.

Most vehicles have a separate window demister that doesn't blow on the driver.

Glad to find that I was using it correctly! I still need to direct the passenger one so it hits the window better. I'm never over there though, and forget about it when I'm not driving. That one fogs up a little when it's in the single digits out and I have the blower on low.

I've found that my "top" vents always blow a little bit of air, even if I have the heat/AC set to go through the "foot" vents. I hate having air blow in my face, so I've closed all my "top" vents, and use the "foot only" option or the "foot / windshield defrost" if I need it.
