Same symptom still there. You mentioned something to me about wheel bearings a while ago and you may be onto something

When was the last time you checked/replaced wheel bearings and front brakes?

I was chasing a vibe for 2 years, and I went down the same path (minus doing rear brakes, but I bought the parts). I did front wheel bearings, and a brake job up front. Also you should be changing your brake fluid every 2-3 years. (My vibration turned out to be the driveshaft)

Luckily there are some free checks that you can do before ordering parts for wheel bearings. Lift up the front of the truck on stands. Grab the tire at 12 and 6 (like on a clock) and try pushing/pulling the top and bottom. If you have any movement/clunk you need wheel bearings. Also alternatively, do that same motion at 3 and 9 to check your outer/inner ball joints. Any play, those need to be replaced too.

And since you have a 1st gen, don't the front lower ball joints go bad and potentially have catastrophic damage if they break? **ill let others chime in on that** but plan for OEM LBJs in terms of cost?
