I need some guidance from you guys. I removed the center support bearing from my 1998 Tacoma 2 wheel drive. I noticed no inner washer, just the thick washer before the splinned flange nut. Is there supposed to be an inner washer on this model? It didn't appear to be the original CSB.

    Thanks in advance!

IIRC, some trucks have the inner washer and other don't. Be sure to follow the FSM torque proceedure when reinstalling a new bearing. There is a dedicated sticky thread just for the carrier bearing at the top of the 1st gen forum if you're looking for more information.
