Driveshaft clunk - changing from Park to Drive or Reverse

    Is that pawl/pin suppose to sit in a slotted hole?
    Or supposed to be round (like the pin)
    Jeez
    Not catastrophic…..damn near thou

    Supposed to be round, not slotted! It was in bad shape. Pulled a 3rd from a 1st gen Sequoia and have a shop looking it over.

    Pulled and installed a compatible 3rd member from a 1st gen Sequoia and had it checked out at a shop before placement. Replaced the drum brake shoes while I was at it. Totally smooth driveline now!

    The pin in the picture is supposed to be in a round hole and not have any movement. The hole is slotted due to wear and was causing a Clunk noise in the drivetrain.
