Yes you can remove your DS, put it in 4 HI and drive around. I haven't read through the 4 pages ... but I live in Austin, and I installed a one piece TW DS yesterday which means I have the OEM DS sitting in the garage for a 4x4 DCSB (2005). I think the flanges could be different - both of mine are squares 66mm center to center. You're welcome to it until you get your situation figured out if it will help. PM me if interested. I replaced it b/c I dented it pretty good wheeling recently. So you'll have some vibrations and I wouldn't drive it long distances, but it has been well maintained and I don't think it's going to break on its own. I've driven 1000 miles since it happened with no issues other than annoying vibrations. My plan is to take it to one of the shops you mentioned and see if they can balance it or not and keep it as a spare.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus. Haha yeah, there's a lot, sorry.
Thanks for reaching out about this! I'm pretty certain I'm getting a new one here in a sec, but I really appreciate this! I'll absolutely reach out if if comes to that, thanks.
And yeah, when I talked to Scotty's on the phone, they seemed to know what they were doing over there.

Leveling kit, wheel spacers, personally fabricated modified frame, and some sweet diamond plate to cover up a smashed driver side! Because I was stupid
Dont worry about how much you write, if they don’t like it theres other threads they can go too. Anyhow, you ever get it figured out?
