I guess I need to be as cool as all of you with 800 posts to be believed. Pictures will go up in the next day or so, the police report will be scanned and put online. Then, you can all appologize as all I am trying to do is tell you what happend & be forewarned. I dont know the cause, neither does Toyota yet. But we will.... I can see that you kids that are 17 have nothing better to do than complain

dude make them give you a new truck period.

i have a question though was there any aftermarket parts installed anything that could have effected driveline angles ie, lift kit, spacers or anything else of the sort?

i would have to say if not then its absolutely on them and instead of debating with you and going through the bull shit i would seek the counsel of a good lawyer & bring him along next time you go to the dealership. also i would set it up so you could talk with the gm and or the owner or both why not they all act so busy but, really most of the time they aren't doing anything of real importance.

glad to hear your ok though and at the end of the day its just a machine and so long as no one was hurt its not that bad even though your out of your new truck.

Doesn't matter that I am 17, not the one trying to fabricate a plan to take down Toyota through the public, and also I wouldn't make a ridiculous claim that my truck "polevaulted" while doing 45mph.

my step father back in the day used to drag cars at our local track in the 70's he said he personally seen this happen on an old camaro so if the front breaks lose and drops its a real possibility no shit.

if it could happen on a vehicle thats much lower to the ground it could absolutely happen to a truck. seeing as the drive shaft when it drops on a truck would be closer to being upright.

btw op do you have some pictures of the carnage?
