IMG_4103.jpg I had vibrations, shakiness for the week but one night it shook badly I still pressed the gas pedal and it snapped on me. Not sure why but does anyone know why? I have a 6 inch fabtech lift with no sway bars is that a cause? Will I need a driveshaft spacer or a carrier bearing drop kit?

How long have you been driving the truck? How long has it been lifted? Any issues before the vibration appeared? Sounds like you ignored the signs of a worn out u-joint.

It’s only been lifted for 2 months now and The u-joint was replace like a couple months ago. But if it’s just a u-joint I rather have that also can I had a carrier bearing drop kit still?

Then you know the answer. The lift caused the problem.

Yes, the u-joint left the chat. That'll have to be replaced, but you might also have to have the yoke replaced depending on how badly its damaged.

Carrier bearing drop would likely help the driveshaft angle.

And those wheels are likely a contributing factor too.

You likely need(ed) axle shims too.

I’ll get that replace as well, rather be safe than sorry. Okay great thanks imma get a carrier bearing drop just to help with angles and yes it’s the wheels I’m on 26s on 33s right now but I took them off and put my 17s on 33s.

U-Joint failed and wore through the yoke, never ignore vibrations.

You're lucky that end didn't catch something in the road surface and send the back of the truck in the air.

    I don’t like dissing someone else’s ride.

but going off your profile photo, the cause would be the mini monster truck lift you have installed.

Did you notice any shuddering, vibrations from the drive shaft?

I see why rock lights are such a popular item among our brodozer brethren now! Perfect for replacing u-joints at night!

When you were greasing the joints, did you ever check to see how much play they had?
Or did you ever grease them?
