Driveshaft squeaks, especially in reverse. Lubricating u-joints didn't help.

My driveshaft has been squeaking, and its especially bad in reverse. I lubricated the driveshaft and the U Joints, but no change at all, its just as bad. Any ideas what else to try?

Sounds like you are just beyond the point of grease helping. Not hearing a squeak in forward but you do in reverse is classic of a U-joint that is bad. Remove driveline and physically check them but more likely just need to be replaced.

    What’s the typical lifespan of u-joints on a 2nd Gen? I just hit 127,000
