Thanks guys. Yea, I definitely don't have them. I set it in Neutral, crawled all the way underneath, pushed it back and forth a little bit. Looked from all angles at all caps No grease fittings at all.

    Sorry to threadjack OP

What do you guys think about running conventional oil vs synthetic as well. I've had other cars and trucks where I always switched to synthetic more or less due to time restrictions and just things I've heard due to specific motors. What is your guys suggestion?

ive always just done synthetic. seems the general consensus is that they prolong the life of everything.

Haven't made the switch yet was just wondering. I've always ran royal purple in all my vehicles but seems Mobil1 is the way to go with the tacomas

Mobile 1 synthetic as its cheap insurance... i run 0w-30 as its available at the same price as 5w-30 yet offers better startup protection (even though i live in sunny so cal it still does)

But really... 5w-30 conventional changed at 5k miles with a filter will do just fine, oil is really good these days.

Yea same here doesn't really get that cold in so cal. I will change my conventional every 3k-3.5k. I've heard people getting well over 200k miles with only using conventional. Thanks for the advice.
