My guess after all that is it's not the driveshaft, but something else. Awesome 1st gen by the way. Don't give up on it

I had a Chevy S10 years ago that I couldn't pin point a vibration on. I found a driveline/suspension shop that had a vibration analyzer (it was like a dyno with vibration sensors they put on the truck). It works well. Try and find something locally like that

from all of the "vibration" posts I have followed a few of the overlooked items is/are the bushings that the front drive axles ride on and the bushing in the tail-shaft housing on the transmission.

I had vibrations from 25-35 and 70-75mph. I balanced and rotated my tires and the vibrations are gone!

Check to see if your front tires are "cupped".

The cap is made by catamount in Vermont. Contractors cap and I made the rack on Top and did the diamond plate myself.

Have you tried a different set of wheels and tires? Have you measured your driveline angles?

Are the wheels universal, you might need some hubcentric rings to center the wheels

Do you still have the factory wheels? Try swapping them out.
