You've really limited the ways you can go, if you are definitely going to Laramie. My vote goes for US-40 NW across the state to Vernal, UT. Then North on 191 to I-80, jog west a few miles to 372 and take that north to 189 which will get you all the way into Yellowstone/Grand Teton NP. I've done that exact route and it was amazing.

Well from laramie, 80 is a pretty boring drive, I'd avoid going through Riverton though you could...

    You have a couple options.

Get off in Rock Springs and head towards atlantic city and south pass, check out the historic sites, then either head into lander and up along the north side of the windrivers to dubois and then up to Jackson and into jelly stone, or back down to farson/eden (stop for some ice cream) and then up towards pinedale (stop at the brewery?) and then into jackson. Either are beautiful drives.

    OR

RS to farson to atlantic city to lander to thermop (stop at the hot springs/bath house) and then into Cody and into that side of jelly stone.

    OR

Pass Rock Springs and Green River, take the following exit towards fontenelle resevoir and Kemmerer, pass through Kemmerer, and head towards fossil butte nat'l monument, stop and check out the sights. Then head towards cokeville and take the highway up through star valley, which is beautiful, and then take hwy 25 from alpine to Jackson and then into the park. You could always detour to bear lake that way as well.

OR... you could always get to Jackson and cut towards rexburg ID and take that park entrance

Personally though I'd probably go through Pinedale and then into Jackson and up. But Lander to Dubois would be another nice drive. Kemmerer through alpine is probably the long way around and though the wyoming range is very pretty, the winds are definitely nicer.

oh and sinks canyon in Lander is cool too if you decide to go that way and want to stop, not very far at all.
also, dubois is dooboys not doobwaaa

I'm from Kemmerer so if you have any questions you can PM me if you want to.
