I have the 30" light bar from Rigid on order. I am thinking about rigging the switch on the shift lever, i think it would be better than mounting the switch on the dash. If its on the dash i would have to try and find to shut them off when meeting traffic. I find i have my right hand on the shift lever most of the time anyway. Has anyone set this up? I have found shift knobs with electrical switches, they are monotery for nitrous or for a line lock no good for driving lights. It might be possible to change the switch ?

Why not just relay it in to your high beams?

High beams on = Light bar on.

High beams off = Light bar off.

I have thought about doing something like this aswell. Like how on the f-150's, the gear shift has an up and down switch that lets one shift gears. I have been trying to figure out a way to make something like this work. No luck on my end.
