There are a lot of people who don't signal when changing lanes. Any particular reason?

Sometimes I'm in the right lane, I signal to move to middle lane. The idiot in left lane don't signal or look and he also merges in the middle lane with you. Wtf?

Another thing that's really annoying, your lane is clear the next 100+ yards, so you're moving fast past the other slower lanes, then that dipshit pulls out in front of you, makes you brake hard, pretty much cut you off. They not realize how fast approaching I am?

If I'm far left and another driver is far right with an open center lane I will almost never change lanes until I am far enough away from the right lane driver to do it safe. I never trust anyone to pay attention to me, I've ridden motorcycles for 20 years on the street and I guess this is a lessen that I have carried over.

One time I pulled into a driveway to turn around. I had both windows down and the rear slider open. This older guy in a white Hyundai Accent behind me was going way to fast, and I saw him. I was backing up at the time I saw him, but I did see him. I hit the brakes and waited for him to pass. He stopped his Hyundai behind my truck and said something like "Look behind you when you're backing up!" He didn't realize my eyes had been on his car the whole time, and when I actually looked at him, he shut right up and drove off before I could say anything.

Sometimes you see cars that's been wrecked a couple times and they are driving it on the road. I think that shows their driving skills so I keep my distance from them.

One of my biggest driving pet peeves, actually one of my biggest pet peeves in life, would be people who don't take care of their vehicles. I'm not talking about cosmetic damage either...

About 8 to 10 years ago, my parents and I were on vacation, and on the way to wherever we were going (It was either down to Virginia Beach or up to Maine) we saw a late model Cadillac Escalade (2002-2006; late model at the time) sitting on the shoulder on the side of a I-95. It was almost 100°F that day, if not over 100°F. The Escalade had a camper or trailer of some sort hooked up to it, the hood was open, and there was steam just pouring out from the engine bay. There were people gathered around the Escalade, but I don't remember how many.

But seriously, an Escalade doesn't overheat, even while towing a trailer at highway speeds in the middle of a heat wave, and more than likely with the A/C going full blast, unless somebody has been seriously neglecting the most basic of routine maintenance...

Coolent lines break, water pumps go out. Even with proper maintenance things can and will go wrong.

It also pains me when a late model vehicle has all sorts of abnormal noises coming from beneath the hood and the owner is just driving without a care in the world.

Things do still pop up, lines break, some sensor doesn't work etc.

And its a Chevy, those have their fair share of issues from my personal experience. ;)

As much as I love General Motors trucks, I've gotta say...

You'd be hard-pressed to find a Landcruiser or Sequoia in the same situation as that Escalade!

Wouldn't have happened if they were driving a Land Cruiser!

A third gen Taco probably wouldn't overheat. I'm thinking more along the lines of transmission problems...

People who park at the gas pump with no intention of buying gas.
People who park sideways in the fire zone-no parking zone in front of the gas station because they are too lazy to walk from a parking spot 20 feet away.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
Or you can hear metal on metal when they hit their brakes.

Or when they have bald tires and it's raining.

Yea, thanks for keeping yourself and everybody around you in danger.
