Wait. What? You work a bar in PA, your boss runs the bar in PA, you've lived in PA your whole life and didn't know the state stores were closed on Sundays? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Son, I don't think your trucks a target for shitty drivers, I think your observation skills need elevated a bit.

    I didn't say shitty drivers...

    I said drunks in general...

They just lean against my truck like it's theirs.

I was 99% sure they were closed. My boss is from NEBRASKA, where you can buy booze in Walmarts and grocery stores like normal people, so she didn't know. I went just to be sure (and to humor her; After all, she was paying me $10 per hour).

This has not happened to me or anyone I know, THANK CHRIST! However, I've seen it a lot in dashcam videos on YouTube. Contrary to popular belief, these aren't Russian dashcam videos either. The two or three I have seen have all been from here in the good old US of A...

Everyone has experienced road rage at some point in their life, but rational people will draw the line at flipping someone off or swearing at them, or maybe brake-checking them...

I've seen videos where one motorist gets mad at the cammer for some mundane reason and retaliates by ramming their vehicle into the cammer's vehicle! Even if the person does not have a dashcam, do these morons really think they're going to get away with it?!?! If these assholes don't cause an accident that results in at least one totaled vehicle at a bare minimum, and potential fatalities at worst, there will more than likely be witnesses.

The most recent video I've seen shows a cammer attempting to merge onto a highway of some sort. Some asshole in a silver 4-door sedan does not want the cammer to get in, so they pace them by driving right alongside, and then when the person ends up on the shoulder, the silver sedan rams the cammer. However, karma is a bitch and the silver sedan ends up getting PIT-maneuvered by the cammer...

Fast-forward to about 3 minutes and 11 seconds in the video below to see the clip...

You and my dad would get along great with regards to TSA! My dad is a veteran with 25 years in the Navy, and he still has to undergo a background check every so often because of some of the stuff he knows. His argument is "If I pass this stringent background check, then why the hell should I have to take off my shoes and walk through a full body scanner to get on an airplane?"

In another dashcam video montage that I'll never be able to find again in this lifetime, a husband and wife in an SUV or minivan of some sort with their kid in the backseat legally passes an early 2000s Chevy Suburban on a two-lane road. It was one of those roads with a dotted yellow line that allowed people to overtake over vehicles if the opposing lane was clear. If I remember correctly, the cammer passed the Suburban because its driver was going slow and brake-checking them. The driver of the Suburban then roars around the cammer's vehicle and purposely rams them, smashing the right rear corner of the Suburban into the left front of the cammer's vehicle, and promptly takes off. Nobody was injured in the crash, and the couple was so shocked that they initially did not drive after the Suburban...

I'm guessing they gave the dashcam footage to police and the Suburban driver faced a plethora of charges...

In the complete opposite of driving pet peeves, I love it when people want to start something with me, and then I point at my dashcam and their balls instantly shrink...

I'd like to bring something up...

Going back to dashcam videos, I've seen videos where the at-fault party does not appear to be under the influence and is driving a nice, late model vehicle. Basically, they don't look like they'd fall into the demographic of people who wouldn't have insurance. Yet, they flee the scene anyway...

I think I have an idea why. I've had two actual accidents that weren't my fault, as well as an incident where a clueless woman opened the passenger door of her SUV and guillotined my left mirror off of my truck. I went nuts and swore at the at-fault parties on all three occasions, though in two of those three incidents I later regretted this (THIS is the accident where I don't regret cussing out the other driver).

In an accident that was my fault, the other driver this Army vet in what was at the time a brand new Subaru Crosstrek, and I'm 90% sure he had mental problems. He kept swearing at me was so belligerent and menacing that I locked myself in my truck until the police showed up. The attitude I got from him was that he thought I purposely pulled out of that parking space and nailed his Subaru in the right rear door.

The difference between me and him is that in the accidents that weren't my fault, I calmed down and came to my senses. This guy was offended by everything I said, even though I apologized and tried to hand over my insurance card immediately. I didn't know his name and was just calling him "dude". Keep in mind that this was after he F-bombed me numerous times. He demanded that I stop calling him dude and that's when I locked myself in my truck. In my opinion, whether I'm at fault or not, you forfeit your right to be called "Sir" or "M'am" once you start cussing at me.

A friend of mine rear-ended a guy in a Chevy truck with her 2007 Honda CR-V. The truck was barely touched, but the CR-V had significant damage (Not totaled and still driveable, but it was several thousand dollars to fix). The driver of the pickup, a 20-something crazy, went batshit crazy on my friend, and my poor friend was absolutely terrified of him...

So, I think that at least some of the "hit and run" videos I've seen are the result of the at-fault driver being afraid of the other driver...

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

    So-called "teachers"...

Third-party assholes who see you driving in a manner that offends them, and then try to "teach you a lesson" by brake-checking you, tailgating you, driving really slow, blocking your way, or following you. I'm not talking about people you cut off or something and thus have a reason to be upset, but people merely witnessed you do something (whether it affects another motorist or doesn't affect anybody at all)...

The Indiana stop is the opposite, gotta make sure all 4 tires are in front of the line. Makes for tricky cross flow sometimes.
