Some people can't grasp the concept of 2 cars turning and maintaining their lane.

I think many people need to go back and comprehend what the definition of yield is. I ran a guy off the shoulder going home from work the other day as he’s trying to get into the right lane from the entrance ramp, and he’s beeping at me as if I’m in the wrong. If there’s no other traffic and I see them ahead of times a lot of the time I’ll try and get into the other lane to avoid the confrontation but when I can’t change lanes I’m not slowing down for a car supposed to yield to come onto the highway. This happens at least once or twice a week, is it just me or are people getting dumber?

People are getting dumber. I like the ones that keep pace with me while they are trying to merge. They either need to speed up or slow down because I’m going to maintain my speed.

Yup, I see these folks - push on the gas or push on the breaks but do something.

A couple that I have been seeing a lot lately:

-People who tailgate on a 2 lane highway while I'm stuck behind a slow driver. I don't tailgate so that others can pass me if they want.

-people who camp out in the left lane, and then when they finally get out of your way they speed up so that you have to speed up to pass them.

-people who don't know how a roundabout works. They've been around for a while now. Let's figure it out.

I'm sure I'll think of more on my ride home from work today..

1- people pulling out in front of me when they could have waited another 5 seconds for me to pass and then pulled out behind me. Then of course, only to go 1/2 mile up the road and turn into McDonald’s.

2- divided highway intersections. People think this is the time when they are supposed to be on the left side of the road, blocking your view of oncoming traffic.

I'll actually throw out a new one.

Paper plates. Fuck this scam, and letting it go this long without cracking down. I mean, I'd love to run around in an uninsured car that won't pass inspection and not bother stopping if I hit someone... oh wait, I don't want to do any of that because I'm not a complete piece of shit.

It's for some of these people that I sometimes wish I'd install one of those auxiliary train horns on the truck. Just for certain situations... But then I would become the person I once hated :D

I don't have enough fingers for the amount of times I've seen, or been a victim of someone turning from the outside left turn lane, and suddenly deciding to make a u-turn across the path of the inside left turn lane.

like how are you either so oblivious, or so uncaring about the rules of the road?

Ok, I'm turning left from a left turn lane with a green arrow on the signal light. Guy in oncoming lane wants to turn right. So he's going to be going the same direction as me once we both turn. He doesn't hesitate and starts into his turn as I am midway through the intersection. Somehow he thinks he has the right of way since he is turning right and I am turning left and flips me off. I had a green arrow which means he had a red light which means he can only turn right on red if all clear. F#%king morons.

Plus he has to stop completely first. Even then he is required to stay in the curb lane and only merge left as able. You with the green arrow have full access to all lanes unless there are multiple left turning lanes in which case your target lanes are clearly marked. World is full of shits that can’t drive or ignore the law.

To jump on the turn lane discussion.

Those who can't think ahead drive me bonkers. Why are you in the left, left turn lane when you want to make a right at the next intersection!?!

Now for road sign complaints. Half the signs here for the right turn lane say "from curb lane" and the other half say "from turn lane". This means I can turn right from the turn lane that is not the curb turn lane, but that guy on the inside doesn't realize I can do that and turns from the curb lane to immediately blows across three lanes to make a left at the shopping center.

People who don't think ahead are some of the worst IMO.

One time, I was stopped at a dedicated left turn, with two left turn lanes. I was on the inside lane. Light turns green, and lady on the outside turn lane shoots forward to pull a u-turn across my lane. Good thing I was paying attention.

Either an asshole or oblivious. I think the oblivious ones are probably so much worse.
