Driving through water

^^ This. You'll be fine on the flooded roads. Diff breather mod is way cheap and is easily done in less than half an hour, so do it today. I ran mine to the brake light. Put a $5 inline filter on it until you get the breather from toyota.

Go slow so you don't push water into your intake.

 

2 feet with a 3 foot hole along the way... this was where my differential got contaminated and why after I got home, had the fluid changed and did the differential breather mod (link in my sig)... I regularly put the rear end of my truck in water to launch and retrieve my boat, sometimes the whole truck up to the rails and it's been fine so far. I did the diff breather mod. I have also driven through water deeper without issue. Trick is keep going so the exposure time is short.
