    ^^ This. You'll be fine on the flooded roads. Diff breather mod is way cheap and is easily done in less than half an hour, so do it today. I ran mine to the brake light. Put a $5 inline filter on it until you get the breather from toyota.

    Go slow so you don't push water into your intake.

    Differential Breather Mod Light Bar: 4 Cree LED lamps Bilstein 5100s Ride Rite Air Bags
    2 feet with a 3 foot hole along the way... this was where my differential got contaminated and why after I got home, had the fluid changed and did the differential breather mod (link in my sig)... Photos taken from inside my truck of others on the run. TW member HBMURPHY was with us... see his YouTube videos taken while driving through the BOG, between the Widowmaker and the mission.

    5100's and 883 OME Coils TRD Exhaust Deaver 1.5" AAL Rear Differential Breather Extension, 4WD Light, Tailgate Pipe clamp, Fog lights on while High Beams on, Carrier Bearing flip
    I regularly put the rear end of my truck in water to launch and retrieve my boat, sometimes the whole truck up to the rails and it's been fine so far. I did the diff breather mod. I have also driven through water deeper without issue. Trick is keep going so the exposure time is short.
