Hoping to hear the best option (some opinions) from an experienced Tacoma driver. What would be the best way to drive a 2017 SR5 4x4 dual cab long bed (with an empty bed) up a steep and curved paved road from a stopped position without losing traction? Low gear 2wd? Low gear 4wd high, in drive, etc? I'm still trying to find a way to do it without losing traction.

One section of the road is from a stopped position because my road is an immediate steep climb off a right turn that I can't make with any speed and then the second section is at a speed between 5-10mph which I can manage. Enter with a little momentum.

I'm new to Tacoma and 4wd. But not trucks. Was hoping I'd be able to make my daily trip home without spinning the tires up my road but at a low speed. I'm pretty sure if I raced up I could do it (or a really really slow speed) but I want to keep the neighbors happy and be safe but also not take forever since there isn't t passing room.

    Thanks!

If on pavement, tight turns are not that good to do in 4WD. If not TOO tight, 4hi should work.
