Driving while trucks in limp mode from sais

Truck has recently gone into limp mode and when cleared will come right back on. Bypass kit from Hewitt tech has been ordered, but because a family friend will be bringing it back to Canada from the states, I’ll be driving for 3 weeks.. am I risking causing serious damage to the truck?

 

You may further damage the SAIS components if one of the switching valves is leaking but it shouldn't hurt anything else assuming all you have is SAIS codes, the truck won't drive very well in limp mode though.

 

Unfortunately I don’t have any other choice. Frustrating to say the least. I’m hoping bypass kit works lol

 

If its dire, try to disassemble the valves and get them unstuck with penetrating fluid if possible.

Limp mode will ruin the day, and if the valves are stuck open it will do that.

It's a bunch of torx bits to remove them and try to get the valves to close. When they are stuck open it causes limp mode, so exhaust shooting backwards.
