I bought aftermarket LED headlights just over a year ago, and totally LOVE THEM! I paid just over $400 for the pair, with tax and free shipping. I wanted the chrome blacked out but clear lenses because of various local laws regarding smoked or blacked out lenses. In any case, on mine, the DRLs are white and turn to amber when the turn or emergency lights are activated. I think it just looks better with the white DRL lights. I have seen some other cars with amber DRL lights and I think they just look stupid. But hey, that is my humble opinion!

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
A buddy of mine sold me his morimoto leds headlights with the white DRL, cycled amber when the signal is on.
I really like the white over the amber myself, but that probably because I prefer the amber Baja designs on when I am cutting thru the most/fog in the am.
