DRL bulbs

    For those of you that switched out the 4157's and are now running the 3057's as your DRL, do you guys notice a difference in temperature of the bulb? Don't wanna disable the DRL's. Just want a quick fix to prevent the burning/melting of the headlight housing. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Avid Offroad light bar, Steelcraft step bars, Extang Revolution tonno, TRD black chrome headlights, 09 LED tails, all window tint, OEM DTRL w/ GM shorty bulbs, tailgate hose clamp, fighter pilot with red cold-cathode, Pioneer AVH-4300BT
    Are those the GM bulbs? If so, that's what I'm running. I've had them in for over a year, including during our 120F summers and I haven't had any melting yet.

    yeah i think they are the GM ones from what i understand. good to know though. thanks!
