I never had any trouble on my '06 but ..... on my '10 I replaced the factory 4157 amber bulbs (12.8 volt/28.5 watts) with 3157 amber (12.8 volt/26.9 watts.)

You should be alright ... if you are concerned look at my post a few up about changing bulbs.
