Hey there, I just bought these for my 08 tacoma. IMG_2461.jpg
And I am trying to figure out how to get the bar light to stay on. I do not believe I have the DRL set up on the truck because the turn signals didn’t stay on with the original headlights. I’ve been reading these forums trying to figure out what I need to complete it but I can’t quite find the answer. Can anyone tell me what parts I need to get those to work?
    Thanks!

I had those and the led tubes lit up when I turned the parking lights or headlights on. I do not have DRL’s. They looked great and worked ok but started to fail just after the 1 year warranty ran out. The lenses pealed and the tubes started to get dead spots in it.

Can you tell me where you connect the led daytime running light to? I bought the same light and my 08 tacoma don’t have stock DRL either.

I just straight wired the LED bar to a switch so I can turn that light on anytime on my '05. Tapped into ignition power off interior fuse block to a rocker switch, then out to LED. No relay needed. No issues for past 5 yrs. Recommend running a bead of clear silicone around the housing to prevent condensation from water seeping in especially after a downpour. Light output not bright as stock but running the silverstar bulbs which is an improvement.

Whatever you end up doing the light bars will eventually flicker and the seals are not great. Good luck with the project

You need to pull the tiny orange bulb out from the parking lights on the side of the original headlights and the wire should plug right into there.
