I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered or if this is on wrong section.

I have a 2019 SR TACO 2.7L 4x2 with amber parking lights / DRL (say's DRL on knob) these amber lights are not accents to the actual headlight like on PRO models like in picture below. I have searched every where looking to the answer as to why will these PRO model headlights with white DRL accents in corner or like the Anzo or Morimoto XB lights do not fit or work with non DRL tacos. Does anyone know why they do not work or fit? Is it a connection issue with not enough plugs, sizing or what and is there a work around to adding these to my taco. Makes me really wish I got the Pro model at the dealership. If anyone has any knowledge or information on this it would be greatly appreciated, im sure toyota could do it but I really dont want to pay them more money then I have to and the OEM Pro DRL lights in a set are about $1800 USD for the set which is just crazy.

The vehicles with LED DRL's have a fuse, relay and LED's that are a separate circuit, unlike the DRL set your vehicle has.(the incandescent bulbs your vehicle has illuminate as DRL and as TURN signals)

With this you get the missing LED DRL input to add any 3rd Gen version of Toyota Tacoma Headlamps...
The LED input supplies power when vehicle is ON, and turns off when Parking/Tails are selected like they do OEM style.

Does this diagram show how to get OEM-behaving LED DRL on a SR/5?

Asking because I installed some Morimoto XB yesterday and am not happy with DRL behavior when using the fuse tap method on an SX (SR5) --when the car is on DRL will always be on, regardless if lights are switched to "off".

    Any help/clarification is appreciated.

    Yes.
Once the Low Beam is selected the fuse tap sends power to the relay. This changes the feed to the LED from Fised IGN source to OFF, OEM style.
