    Personally I like them, for 1 it lets me know other tacos are coming because its distinct drl shape and placement. The way I look at it is its always a good thing in my book to have extra protection to idiots and can help save u from an accident. The chance is prob slim but it is there, also is good for the idiots that don't know about the headlights on/off 30 mins before sunrise/set and driving with headlights off at night. At least you can see them somehow. Insurance decrease is a bonus. Plus like mentioned you can shut them off on newer models anyways but honestly that's kinda stupid if you ask me.
