DRL TURN SIGNALS

Disclaimer: i wanna say that MESO is the turn signal God and by no means I'm trying to compete with him. I just wanted something different and maybe give some people out there who feels the same way as i do an option, that's why I'm posting this.

I HATE THE CHROME ON MY TURN SIGNALS!!! lets just get that out of the way. Lol while everyone is all excited about the recent drop of the V4 turn signal by meso, i was getting excited about my own version of the turn signal. I got in touch with @gaterose (Matt Hayward) about this project and he's such a cool guy. He helped explain to me everything i needed to know on how to pull this off.. i have very little knowledge when it comes to wiring in my truck but this guy made it soo easy for me.

He is open to customizing the same turn signals as the one i have so feel free to message me or him with whatever questions you guys have. THESE ARE SUPER BRIGHT!!! Matt used some Diode Dynamics LED strip which are known to be super bright!

How are your turn signals on all the time? Both in your headlights and on your mirrors?

 

The light actually looks pretty good. You ran the extra wire for running lamps? Won't give up my Meso's but people will like those.

Very nice touch. I never understood why the mirror markers are not both running light and signals.

thats actually @gaterose truck.. the guy who built my lights.. i wanted the "ALL AMBER" look instead of his white DRL-amber turn signals..

 

I love the white and then the orange. That’s exactly what I’d love to have. PMd him already

Did you strip the chrome and spray tint over it? Or replace the lens with a smoked one?

Im guessing you know by now how the turn signals on the mirror work.. about the headlights, i changed the sockets from the factory that has 2 wires to an after market with 3.. the 3 wires i tap to the power, the turn signal, and the other one with the side markers for the drl..

 

Thanks man. They are really bright.. @gaterose made a wire harness for me that comes with a driver and when i got them, i just had to run the wires and tap them to some power cables on the door panel.

Love it! I like the Amber/Amber, but think maybe the side flashing should flash all the way off when flashing?
Probably too complex but I’d love to see White/Amber daytime, switching tho Amber/Amber with headlights on.

 

When the turn signal God actually appreciates another version of the turn signal, all you can do is pause for a moment and know that you did something good

I didnt do much of the work.. @gaterose assembled it for me and when i received it, all i did was run some wires and tap them to a power source on the door panel. Hardest part was trying to run the wires through the mirror from the door panel.

With regards to price, I'll let him answer that part
