46 minutes! That's huge! I'd trade camera upgrades for streaming features or heat vision but all upgrades are welcome.

It’s also supposed to have improved Hd video transmission to the controller

autel makes some good stuff and def gives DJI a run for its money, however the autel nano still has software issues since its release, it will get better over time. I do like the drones that are under 249g , no headaches, no reg, no sillyness, just fly and have fun!

Just picked up a DJI Mini 2 from costco. Camera, 2 batteries, sd card, and a slick bag for $440, $10 under MSRP for just the drone. Pretttty pleased. Going to try and knock of out my TRUST test tonight and get registered.

Edit: TRUST was a joke, that was easy to pass. Whoop.

Edit2: DJI has a computer simulator, which at first I thought was a great idea. Then realized it doesn't work with the controller that comes with the Mini 2, BUT did some googling and it does work with an xbox controller. Played around with that for a while and it was pretty fun. Probably won't be able to actually try the drone until next weekend though. I live very close to an airport and from what I can tell am able to fly with permission, but have a 100' cap where i'm at.

Did my first flight on Wednesday. It was surprisingly easy and not surprisingly a blast. My wife even flew it for a bit and enjoyed it.

She said I needed to name it, and thought i’d name it something clever or cutesie.

… not so much. Named it starscream after the decepticon in transformers hahaha

A little time with the cricut later and voila

Had my eye on one of these, but ended up going with the DJI Mavic Mini. Been pretty impressed with it so far. Took it with us to Hidden Falls last fall and photographed some of our runs. Can't hardly beat a fall sunset in hill country.

Looking at picking up DJI mini 4. Main concern is the proposed federal ban. Although, you’d still be able to use their drones just not new ones.

I have a DJI mini 4 pro. In the space of a month I went from a DJI mini SE, to a 3, to the 4 pro. As soon as I flew the SE, I realized how much I liked it. And then realized I might as well get the best one I can afford at the moment that will last me many years of use.

Been flying drones for my department in a LE capacity for about 4 years now, soon to become our new Drone Unit administrator. We currently fly DJI M30T's and Avata's just came across this thread.

How much truth (vs "headline") is there to the government making ownership of DJI difficult if not illegal ... China ownership of the servers? Best Buy keeps selling them, but others have sold pre-emptively while people will still buy them.

AFAIK the house passed the bill, but the senate hasn't taken it up or voted on it. So who knows, anything from here is purely speculative and depends on the use of the word "may". "May ban" the use of, etc. Probably won't know more until next year.
