Droning noise around 2K RPM only when accelerating

Is it me, or has this always been there? It sounds like a droning, humming, low tone. does not sound like grinding.

Service is up to date. Just had the transfer case and transmission fluid changed. Oil changes every 8000 KM, the propeller shaft has been lubed. Tires rotated on the regular and rebalanced when appropriate.

My Mechanic can't find anything glaring. Am I imagining this or what? 2019 Tacoma Dbl Cab, approx. 138,000 KM on the odo.
If anyone has some similar experiences or can point me somewhere I haven't looked, I'd appreciate it.
